Walking With Penguins
Visit Penguin Island, on Beagle Channel, and Harberton, the oldest Estancia of Tierra del Fuego.
Description: The tour starts at Ushuaia Port. Buses depart from there to Estancia Harberton, 80 km away from the city, crossing route number 3 and then finally, turning on direction to the coast. We stop near a particular “Flag Tree”, arriving to the farm, to take the boat for going to Martillo Island, where the Penguin rockery inhabits. We land and walk, following a trail to see the birds nearest than you ever could imagine. When we were on the farm, we have the possibility to see the house where Bridges family lived and visit the Museum where there is a collection of sea mammal bones and biologist studding them during the summer.
